The Food and Drug Administration has approved a larger disposable syringe from CryoLife for the administration of its BioGlue Surgical Adhesive.
The FDA OK’d use of a 10ml disposable syringe for use in complex surgeries such as cardiovascular procedures. The 10ml device, which is already in use in Europe, will be available in the U.S. late in the first quarter, CryoLife said. Syringes in 2Ml and 5Ml volumes are already approved for use in the U.S.
