A webcam put in place at the construction site for the new Raleigh Convention Center has earned a spot among some of the world’s best-known locations.
The Raleigh construction site was named to the seventh annual list from EarthCam.com for its 25 most interesting webcams of 2005 list.
Other sites on the list include the Eiffel Tower and the Pyramids.
The convention center site uses a live robotic webcam to track construction of the new center, which is scheduled to open in 2008.
