Telecommunications gear developer Tekelec has won a three-year extension of a contract with Alcatel for part of Alcatel’s switching systems.
The deal calls for Alcatel to continue utilizing Tekelec’s 8000 Media Gateway product within Alcatel’s Mobile Next Generation Network.
