Misys Healthcare Systems has won a contract with a major kidney center in texas for its electronic medical record and mobile practice management services.
The San Antonio Kidney Disease Center offers nephrology services at 10 different locations. Physicians currently use index cards with control numbers for the tracking of hospital and dialysis patient procedures.
The Misys systems, will help the practice automate much of the tracking process. Providers will utilize a handheld device for patient record access and billing.
