Alltel is rolling out wireless broadband service in Charlotte and Raleigh as well as Richmond, Va.
Altel’s service, which is called Axcess Broadband, delivers download speeds of between 400 and 700 kilobits per seconds with bursts up to 2.4 begabits per second.
The service costs $69.99 per month.
