ALPHARETTA,Alliant Pharmaceuticals, which is focused on pediatrics, has named Allen Fields as vice president of research and development.
Fields is a former executive with Quintiles. He has more than 14 years of experience in clinical and regulatory affairs. He has also worked for PharmaFab, Sepracor, Purdue Pharma and TAP Holdings.
The company also named Pete Joiner as director of national accounts. His previous position was with Sanofi-Aventis.
Alliant is in its first full year of operations.
