Responding to customer growth, Peak 10 is building a second data center at its Charlotte headquarters.

The 14,000 square foot facility will bring to seven the number of centers operated by Peak 10, a provider of web hosting and outsourced information technology services.

Peak 10 also has operations in Research Triangle Park, Jacksonville and Tampa FL and two data centers in Louisville, KY.

“The addition of the new data center in Charlotte strengthens our presence in a significant market for our company,” said David Jones, president and chief executive officer of Peak 10. “With three data center expansion projects since the beginning of 2005, we are responding to customer growth and the increased demand for outsourced IT services in a significant way.

“Our facility enhancements address future growth and hardware technology solutions, as well as adding another layer of infrastructure capabilities and services to our current facilities,” he added. “Peak 10 will continue to pursue expansion opportunities both organically and through acquisition.”

The RTP and Louisville facilities were expanded in 2005.

The new Charlotte facility is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2006.
