Mall developer, CBL & Associates Properties, Inc. (NYSE: CBL) have promoted two staff members – Victoria S. Berghel and Mark D. Mancuso to senior positions within the Company.
Berghel was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel from Vice President – Deputy General Counsel. Mancuso was named Senior Vice President Community Center Development – New England Regional Office from Vice President and Director of Community Center Development – Boston Office.
Commenting on the promotions, CBL’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Charles B. Lebovitz, said, “Both Vickie and Mark exemplify excellence in their fields and have been instrumental in the implementation of CBL’s growth strategy. They have both made significant contributions to this company as well as the shopping center industry.”
Victoria Berghel joined CBL as Vice-President – Deputy General Counsel in February 2004, working under the direction of Ronald Gimple, who recently announced his retirement.
Since joining the Company, Ms. Berghel has been focusing on completing department store and other major retailer documentation as well as handling other corporate legal matters. She has also been instrumental in completing the partnership documentation with The Richard E. Jacobs Group for Gulf Coast Town Center in Fort Myers, FL, and Triangle Town Center in Raleigh, NC.
