Bolstered by a 22 percent jump in revenues, Nortel (NYSE: NT) cuts its third-quarter losses to $105 million, or 2 cents a share, compared to the same quarter a year ago.

Income surged to $2.66 billion, up 22 percent from 2004.

Nortel lost $259 million, or 6 cents a share, in the same quarter of 2004.
