IBM Offers RFID Services Based Out of Atlanta

IBM recently unveiled consulting-based services designed to help midsize companies get radio frequency identification (RFlD) projects off the ground in as few as two or three weeks, and the operation is based in Atlanta.

IBM Express RFID Services costs $20,000 up front and $750 per month, NewsFactor reports. The foundation is WebSphere RFID Premises Server, which IBM hosts and manages from its newly established RFID operations center in Atlanta.
