Kevin Thompson a former chief financial officer at Red Hat, has resigned his position at SAS.
According to media reports, Thompson has moved to Austin TX to take over as CFO of startup firm Surgient.
To replace Thompson, SAS promoted Don Parker, who had been head of the software firm’s internal audit services.
Thompson’s departure was first reported by The Triangle Business Journal.
