Peak 10, a provider of data center and managed services, is 69th on Inc magazine’s “500” list of fastest growing private companies in the United States.

The list was announced Thursday.

Peak 10 achieved the ranking with a three-year growth rate of 1,085 percent.

“We are extremely honored to be among the prestigious companies listed on this year’s Inc. 500 list,” said David Jones, president and chief executive officer for Peak 10, in a statement. “This is clearly a result of the hard work and commitment of all our employees and a testament to our proven operating philosophy of delivering customer value, placing a high priority on localized customer support and service, growing and developing our employees and strategically expanding our services and markets.”

Video Gaming Technologies, which is based in Roebuck, SC, was tops on the list.

Other North Carolina firms on the list include:

  • 321. Simonini Builders, Charlotte

  • 342. LTM, Havelock

  • 368. Buck Engineering, Cary

  • 452. eTrials Worldwide, Morrisville

  • 487. Ameritrust Mortgage, Charlotte
  • Overall, members of the Inc 500 reported three-year sales growth of 769 percent.

    In order to be eligible for inclusion on the lest, companies had to have at least $500,000 in net sales in 2001, be based in the United States and be independent or privately held through fiscal 2004.

    Peak 10 maintains data centers in Charlotte, the Triangle, Louisville and two in Florida.
