RESTON,Sprint Nextel has closed on its $287.5 million acquisition of Gulf Coast Wireless.
Sprint Nextel (NYSE: S) made the deal as part of the merger between Sprint and Nextel earlier this summer.
The Gulf Coast Wireless acquisition, which includes assumption of debt, also ends litigation Gulf Coast had filed against the merger. Gulf Coast was a Sprint PCS affiliate.
