Motricity is teaming up with Valista, a provider of multi-channel payment and offer management software, to provide what the companies call a “complete mobile retail platform” for digital content and services.

The partnership will provide one source for offer management, content delivery, payment processing, multi-party settlement, post-purchase care, and mobile community building, the companies said.

“We chose Valista’s technology because of the depth and breadth of their deployment experience worldwide and their payments expertise gained by working with key companies worldwide, such as France Telecom w-HA, Orange, AOL, Vodafone and NTT DoCoMo,” said Ryan Wuerch, chairman and chief executive officer of Motricity. “Offering new ways to deliver and purchase content and multiple ways to pay will generate additional revenues for mobile operators and media companies globally.
