Doug Burgum, senior vice president of Microsoft’s Business Division, will be the guest speaker at the next Charlotte Chamber Information Technology Council Speaker Series event.

The luncheon session is set for 11:30 AM on Oct. 4 at the Adam’s Mark Hotel.

Burgum will discuss “how technology enables organizations to succeed in today’s constantly evolving workplace by amplifying the impact of their people, and the relationship between business process automation and personal productivity,” the Chamber said.

Burgum founded Great Plains Software, which Microsoft purchased in 2000.
