Commercial port facilities in Long Beach, Oakland and Seattle are deploying automated wide-area surveillance software from Atlanta-based VistaScape.
VistaScape systems are now used in six of the top 10 busiest U.S. ports.
The company’s SiteIQ automated wide-area surveillance software is designed to provide a single graphical user interface for security monitoring of all three ports on one screen.
Embarcadero Systems Corporation, a VistaScape partner in Alameda, Calif., is the primary contractor for the installations.
