Market Central, a provider of document and content management solutions, will work with Ribstone Systems to jointly develop solutions for enterprise-wide document management.
Ribstone, which is based in Chicago, is a developer of document capture and processing solutions.
The companies said their joint solution would target automatic coding and indexing of photocopied documents and the ability to search those documents.
Market Central, which does business under the name Scientigo, will license its patented search, automated coding and indexing applications for use with Ribstone’s document scanning and processing engine.
“These technologies offered by Ribstone and Scientigo will provide levels of document processing automation, accuracy and precise search capabilities that the industry has not seen before,” the companies said. “The new application is slated for deployment to select customers in the first quarter 2006.”
