Bob Morgan will take over as president of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce as of Dec. 1.

Morgan, who has served as president of the Gaston County Chamber for the past three years, will replace Carroll Gray, who is retiring.
Gray has led the Charlotte Chamber for the past 21 years.

Morgan worked for the Charlotte Chamber from 1991 through 2002, acting as vice president of public affairs, vice president of office development and group vice president of business advocacy.
