Southern Telecom and First Mile Communications are teaming up to offer wireless broadband access throughout metropolitan Atlanta.
The agreement with First Mile enables Southern to offer a “higher capacity, scalable, turnkey connectivity” solution, Southern said. Customers can also pick their packages for higher bandwidth capacity as needed.
“Broadband wireless is an exciting concept in communications because of its capacity, security, and flexibility,” said R. Stanley Allen, president of First Mile Communications. “It offers an alternative connectivity option from fiber or other land-based networks.”
