Venture capital firm A.M. Pappas will host its annual life science symposium on Sept. 21.
The event, which starts at 5:30 PM at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, includes a panel discussion about “maximizing venture capital returns by keeping underserved areas on the life sciences radar screen”.
Panelists include G. Steven Burrill, chief executive officer of Burrill & Company; Carl Goldfischer, managing director of Bay City Capital; Eric Linsley, a partner with Pappas; Alfred Brown, president of BCM Technologies; and Samuel Ackerman, chairman and CEO of Panacos Pharmaceuticals. Moderating the discussion will be Mark Regal, a principal with the customized fund investment group with Credit Suisse First Boston Private Equity.
