Remona Ashford, an executive with the Council for Entrepreneurial Development since 1998, has been promoted to senior vice president of finance and operations.
Ashford served previously as vice president of operations. She joined CED as business manager in 1998 and was named VP of operations in 2002.
“From operations to finance, from technology infrastructure to human capital management, Remona has played a vital leadership role at CED,” said CED President Monica Doss. “She is a dedicated member of CED’s team, and we look forward to having her on board for many more years to come.”
Ashford has handled seven audits for the CED as well as developed the group’s human resource system, and oversaw updates of CED’s infrastructure as well as deployment of a new customer relationship management system. She also developed the benefit fulfillment process for the organization’s $4 million innovation to impact campaign.
