WILMINGTON,David Provost, an executive with Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD) since 1995, has been promoted to a newly created management position at the life sciences firm.
Provost will serve as executive director of market development strategic operations. His most recent position at PPD (Nasdaq: PPDI) was executive director for registries and observational studies, compliance and risk management programs.
The new post is part of PPD’s efforts to offer clients services for development of new products and to extend the “market value” of existing products, PPD said in a statement.
“In addition to late stage trials, registries and post- approval safety surveillance services, the market development services suite includes health outcomes, consumer health, patient adherence programs and medical information support,” PPD said.
