Expression Analysis, a provider of genetics testing and services, has won an extension and expansion of a contract with the Environmental Protection Agency.

The revised contract is now worth more than $2.5 million a year, up from $1.7 million. The total contract has a value of $6 million, Expression Analysis said.

The company has worked with private industry and the Food and Drug Administration in using genomic data in clinical trials and expects to process more than 50 pharmacogenomic-related clinical trials in 2005.
