Three North Carolina-based biotechnology firms have been selected to present at the Bio Industry organization’s Mid-America VentureForum.
The event is set for Sept. 21-23 in Minneapolis MN.
Scheduled to present are Affinergy, Biolex and Nascent Pharmaceuticals.
“These three companies are excellent examples of our region’s strong contribution to the life sciences,” said Sam Taylor, executive vice president and secretary of the North Carolina Biosciences Organization (NCBIO). “The BIO Mid-America VentureForum leverages the Midwest’s strong concentration of medical device companies and growing biotechnology industry, but attracts private companies and venture capitalists from across the U.S. and Canada. We are pleased that Affinergy, Biolex and Nascent Pharmaceuticals will be representing North Carolina at this national event.”
The Mid-America forum is in its third year.
