Red Hat (Nasdaq: RHAT) stock was upgraded by CIBC World Markets on Friday to “sector perform”.

The upgrade was the latest in a series for the Linux software developer and services provider. Its stock closed at $15.33 on Friday, edging closer to its 52-week high of $16.65 achieved earlier this year.

Red Hat has traded as low as $10.37 in the past year.

Since February, Banc of America Securities, Robert W. Baird and CSFB have also upgraded its Red Hat ratings.
