North Carolina Governor Mike Easley reappointed his three picks for the board of the NC Biotechnology Center.

The board has 21 members, and the governor picks three.

Reappointed for two-year terms were Ken Harewood of Durham, John Jackson Hunt of Lattimore and Robert Timmins of Durham.

Harewood is director of the Julius L. Chambers Biomedical/Biotechnology Research Institute at N.C. Central University. Hunt is a cattle farmer and owner of Round-Up Stores of Shelby and Forest City. Timmins is a retired president and chief executive officer of Organon Teknika Corporation.
