WEST POINT,Telecommunications provider ITC DeltaCom is selling off its data business and data center facility to Quality Group of Companies in a deal worth some $25.8 million.
ITC DeltaCom’s e-deltacom business includes managed co-location, hosting, security, data storage, monitoring, network services and hardware.
The data center is located in Suwanee GA.
“The sale of e^deltacom represents a continuation of our strategy to focus on our core competencies and to strengthen our balance sheet,” said ITC^DeltaCom CEO Randall E. Curran. “We look forward to partnering with Quality as we establish a relationship that ensures that both companies continue to provide outstanding service to their respective customers.”
ITC DeltaCom will provide Quality with telecommunications services.
