Income from mobile content applications surged at Summus (OTCBB: SMMU) in the second quarter, but the company’s losses also increased.
With games such as Texas Hold’em by Phil Hellmuth and photo offerings from Sports Illustrated, Summus said revenues surged 48 percent, to $1.8 million, from one year ago.
Its losses, however, increased to $845,000 from $653,000 in 2004.
The company plans to introduce games from Mattel this fall.
