Just in time for the 87th PGA Championship, Cingular is launching its PGA Tour Portal for wireless golf news and entertainment.
The portal includes a feature called TOURCast Mobile, which provides statistics, graphical coverage and leader board information in real time. Another feature, SHOTlink, recreates graphically what is happening on the course. TOURCast Mobile on Cingular is based on the web version at PGATour.com.
News features are available for scoring alerts and breaking news. Customers can set alerts and news for their favorite players.
Golf Digest Mobile is also making wallpaper, screensavers and photographs.
Other features include tips on improving play and scorecards from eGolfscore.com.
Featured game is EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA TOUR Golf.
