StemCo, which is researching use of adult stem cells that could be used for treatments of cancer, cardiovascular disease and other degenerative diseases, has landed a global distributor for one of its products.

StemCell Technologies, which is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, has agreed to distribute StemCo’s Aldefluor product on a global basis. Previously it had marketed Aldefluor in the Americas and Asia-Pacific markets other than Japan.

Aldefluor is a kit used in identification of stem cells as well as progenitor cells for use in research.
