Waypoint Solutions Group of Charlotte has won a contract to provide a variety of information technology services for Dubai Ports International.
The Dubai firm manages ports in eight different companies.
Waypoint will design, install, manage and maintain Dubai Ports’ enterprise networks, messaging and telecommunications systems, including Voice over Internet Protocol. The network includes more than 100 servers.
The Dubai firm has operations in Jacksonville FL, China, Australia, Germany, the Dominican Republic and Venezuela.
Waypoint provided services for a Jacksonville ports firm that was acquired by Dubai Ports.
Founded in 2003, Waypoint provides a variety of messaging, systems management and web solutions.
