STI Knowledge, a provider of business process outsourcing services, is changing its name to Integreo.

The change better reflects the services provided by the company following recent acquisition of two healthcare related firms, the company said.

The new name is pronounced “in-TEG-reo”.

“In less than two years, our company has been successful in expanding and transforming our services to encompass end-to-end BPO services and solutions focused on the needs of the healthcare, insurance, government and commercial industries — and, that growth will continue,” said Satish Sanan, executive chairman and chief executive officer of Integreo, in a statement. “Now, we’ve completed yet another milestone in achieving our strategic vision. The Integreo name will be recognized as a premier BPO service provider focused on integrating people, business and technology to deliver exceptional value and outstanding services to our customers.”

Sanan took over direction of the company in 2003, leading to acquisitions of HPS Paradigm in 2004 and Symphony Data in February.
