SmartVideo, which provides TV content for mobile devices, is now expanding into gaming.

The company announced Thursday that it had acquired the rights to several games designed for so-called smartphones from Pixiem. The deal also includes the gaming engine. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Games include Smart Golf Plus, Metalion, Fun2Link, Bubble Mania and Crash Bomb.

SmartVideo said it would introduce games it has developed on June 15.
The games cost $5 each.
