Focus Enterprises, an investment banking firm focused on emerging growth and middle-market companies, has opened a Southeast regional office in Atlanta.

Focus has named four partners to man the office. They are: Huxley Nixon, Jim Harper, Bill Inman, and Ulysses Knotts.

Focus is already involved in a number of deals in the information technology, research and development and leisure industry, the firm said.

“Atlanta is a great business city, and the Atlanta Financial Center is the perfect location for our Southeastern Headquarters,” said George Shea, the regional managing partner. “The four seasoned partners we’ve brought on board recently — all have deep roots and experience in the business community here and are accomplished dealmakers and advisors as well as former C-level operating executives.”

Focus’ headquarters is in Washington DC.
