Peak 10 is adding 10,000 square feet of space to its data center in Louisville KY in order to accommodate growth and to provide more redundancy for its four other facilities, the company said Friday.

Customer demand for more high-end managed services, disaster recovery and hosting led to the decision to add more space.

“Our business in Louisville continues its consistent growth as more and more organizations look to outsource the management of complex information technology environments,” said Don Esterle, vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Louisville. “The additional data center space we are building-out in Louisville enables Peak 10 to help companies ensure the availability, security and integrity of critical data and business applications 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

Peak 10 acquired Louisville-based Xodiax in November of last year. It maintains other data centers in Research Triangle Park, Charlotte, Tampa and Jacksonville FL.
