Ronald Katz, one of the world’s best-known leaders in technology licensing, will be among the guest speakers today at the Licensing Executives Society conference in RTP.

Katz is chief executive of Ronald A. Katz Technology Licensing. He was the co-inventor of the first on-line, real-time check cashing authorization system and holds patents that have generated more than $750 million in license fees.

The conference, titled “Alliances in Action”, has drawn more than 300 executives from around the United States. The event is being chaired by Allen Baum, a partner in the Raleigh law firm Hutchison & Mason.
