AB Automotive, a provider of automotive electronics, will expand its manufacturing operations in Smithfield, NC, to support a new circuit board manufacturing capability.
The company, which is part of TT electronics of the United Kingdom, will invest $6 million in new facilities and hire 76 more workers, according to North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley’s office. The site currently has 70 workers.
AB Automotive received a $100,000 grant from the state’s One North Carolina Fund as an incentive.
