etrials is bringing on board another contract research organization as a client for its “eclinical” software suite.
etrials, which landed a deal with Quintiles last week, said on Monday that Omnicare Clinical Research has signed a multi-year subscription agreement for use of etrials tools.
Terms were not disclosed.
The companies have already collaborated on two studies.
“By offering tools to expedite data collection and ultimately their clients’ trials, Omnicare is ahead of the curve,” said John Cline, CEO of etrials, in a statement. “Our first cooperative trial with Omnicare, which is for a top-ten pharmaceutical company, serves as an example that the industry now recognizes the importance of eClinical technologies in trial research.”
