Jim Clary — CEO and Co- Founder, Served as Vice President of Electronics and Systems for the Research Triangle Institute — a research and development organization providing technical services for technology commercialization, decision support, education and training, environment, and health and pharmaceuticals. Clary was responsible for five business centers and a staff of 135 computer scientists and electrical engineers.
Greg Clary, Ph.CTO and Co-Founder, Greg has worked with the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center for five years working on handwriting recognition and pen input systems. Clary holds four U.S. patents related to electronic pen-on-paper data capture and has six patents pending. He has been active in leading the development of Mi-Co’s Mi-Forms since the product’s inception. Clary holds the B.S.E. and the M.S.E.E. degrees from Duke University and the Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Hugh Patrick — National Sales Director, Hugh has fourteen years of experience in technology sales, marketing and international channel business development with a focus on enterprise solutions. He has held executive and management positions at Cisco Systems and Cray Research and co-founded two software companies, the most recent being ProviderLink, Inc., a successful start-up that provides a secure, HIPAA compliant communications service to the healthcare industry.
Barrett Joyner — Senior VP of Marketing and Sales Strategy, Joyner brings over two decades of leadership and management experience in enterprise software companies. Barrett had an illustrious 16-year career at SAS Institute in several sales, marketing and executive management roles, from account representative to President of SAS North America, contributing to the extensive growth of SAS in becoming the world’s largest privately held software company with annual revenues of over $1 billion. Additionally, Barrett served as CEO of FullSeven Technologies, directing the company through the turbulent economic times of late 2001 and early 2002 as FullSeven increased its corporate customer base by more than 1200%.
Carolee Nail — VP of Operations, Carolee has honed her operational, management and entrepreneurial skills in her 20 years of providing leadership in such diverse areas as logistics, finance, sales and business planning. In the last five years at Mi-Co, Nail has had several positions of increasing responsibility. She established Mi-Co procedures in operational areas including customer sales, contracts, finance, purchasing and human resources. Ms. Nail’s experience prior to Mi-Co includes 5 years as Staff Accountant with a CPA firm, 5 years with United Parcel Service as an International Air Account Executive and 10 years as owner/operator of a very successful retail and wholesale business.
