The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) is hosting a meeting on Homeland Security issues on April 7 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. An exclusive presentation by Special Forces Personnel on the technology needs of the 21st century war fighter will be presented.
NCTA continues to spur growth in the homeland security area, and has concentrated efforts in leveraging the North Carolina’s military and intelligence enterprise with the innovation assets throughout state.
The meeting agenda will include highlights of a proposal unveiled last week at the N.C. General Assembly that would authorize the Defense Technology Innovation Center (DTIC). The DTIC will bring together entrepreneurs from around the state with North Carolina’s military community to find technology solutions that will aid the war fighter in the Global War on Terror.
The meeting will be held at the Wachovia Building in Raleigh. To RSVP, contact Jennifer Aycock at firstname.lastname@example.org or (919) 856-0393.
