After one year in Chapel Hill, artitecture firm, Lord, Aeck & Sargent adds two additional staff members. George Sharpe joins as director of client development and Derek West, who serves as a project designer, transfers to Chapel Hill from the firm’s Ann Arbor, MI office.

Sharpe has 24 years of experience working in the architecture and engineering industry. He will be responsible for enhancing the office’s ability to develop both existing and new client relationships.

West brings with him experience that fits within Lord, Aeck & Sargent’s key areas of concentration including science research facilities and performing arts. He holds a master’s of architecture degree from UVA and a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from the University of Memphis.
