SlickEdit is rolling out Version 10 of its code editor, which is designed for use with Windows, Linux, Unix and Mac operating systems.

The new release is intended to help programmers speed up and debug code writing.

A variety of new features have been added for C++ and Java programmers, the company said. Including debugging enhancements.

“With SlickEdit 10.0, customers will immediately notice that the user interface has been greatly improved in look and features,” said Clark Maurer, SlickEdit founder and chief technology officer, in a statement. “Users will enjoy using the new auto-hide window feature which provides more screen space when editing files.”
