Kennedy Covington Lobdell & Hickman is one of the Top 25 most active venture capital and private equity law farms in the US, according to Dow Jones publication Private Equity Analyst.

The law firm closed on more than 65 mergers-and-acquisition and private equity deals worth more than $1 billion. Several were in excess of $100 million.

Kennedy Covington worked with: Banc of America Capital Investors in the sale of Signal One LLC; Wachovia in several financings and acquisitions, including the merger of Comsys Holding, a portfolio company of Wachovia Capital Partners, with a publicly held firm; LendingTree in its acquisition of and other deals; and closed on fund investments by BIA Digital Partners, CapitalSouth Partners Funds, and Copeley Capital Partners.
