Former US Senator Sam Nunn has been elected as lead director for Scientific-Atlanta’s board covering a one-year period, the company announced Thursday.
In his role, Nunn will lead meetings of directors that are not part of management and serve as the liaison between non-management directors and S-A’s board chairman.
Nunn, who now leads the Nuclear Threat Initiative as its co-chairman and chief executive officer, served as a Senator from Georgia for 24 years.
