Indigo Technology Services, a developer of a high-speed Internet access product for use in hotels, has been acquired by SoftNet, a New Jersey firm.
Indigo’s GuestWorx system is used in more than 15 hotels for wired and wireless Internet access. The company also provides guest support for a number of other hotels plus surveillance systems. It also recently launched an information technology consulting division.
SoftNet invested $140,000 in cash in Indigo and acquired its assets for 6 million shares of its stock plus other incentives.
