Don Hames, founder and chief executive officer of Providence Software, is going to focus on further product development now that he has a new president for the firm.

Hames announced last week that Ken Kelly, a former executive at Peopleclick, has joined Providence as its president and will oversee day-to-day operations.

“Providence is poised for exponential growth. This phase of the corporate lifecycle is very exciting,” Hames said in a statement. “I feel as founder of the company I have fulfilled my role in getting the company to its present stage. The coupling of Ken coming on board as President and my new role of overseeing product development is a powerful combination that will take Providence to the next level of success.”

Kelly was vice president of professional services at Peopleclick.

Providence provides a variety of consulting and other services with a focus on SAP.
