IBM Linux Cluster Delivers High-Speed Record

IBM used Linux and a cluster of servers to set what it called a “new standard” for high-speed data performance, Big Blue announced Monday.

“This is the first time that a large data cluster delivered record-breaking performance at a price point that is lower than any other system in the industry,” IBM said.
