DWL, a provider of customer data integration (CDI) software, has enhanced privacy protection for messaging as part of a recent product release.

DWL Customer 5.5 includes the ability to manage more easily the increasing regulatory requirements for customer data with attention on management of customer privacy preferences. DWL said its product incorporates and manages data across disparate business units.

DWL cited a recent report from the CDI Institute which said 92 percent of global 2000 company respondents cited the ability to manage privacy from a central management position was a major adopter for buying customer data integration software.
