Jack Stenner, CEO and chairman of MetaMetrics, recently joined the executive board of the National Institute of Statistical Sciences.

MetaMetrics is the developer of a Lexile Framework, a means of determining reading comprehension based on tests. The company has also developed assessments for math.

Stenner has been part of the statistics group since its founding in 1990.

MetaMetrics has digitized more than 100,000 books and uses questions absed on those texts as part of its testing framework. The program will be used by 19 million students in 2004.
