i2Telecom, a developer of voice and data communications technology, earned the product of the year award from Internet Telephony Magazine for its VoiceStick product.

The VoiceStick is a device that plugs into a PC or notebook computer’s USB port and enables telephone calls through the Internet using Voice over Internet Protocol technology. It also works with some personal data assistants.

“This portable product is rapidly gaining traction, and we are well positioned to leverage the exponential growth of VoIP and WiFi hot spots,” said Paul Arena, i2Telecom’s CEO.
